For the record, all parties involved were returned to their respective coops, pens, whelping boxes, and cars unharmed (maybe minus a feather or two) at the end of the adventure.

This litter is a bunch of live wires. Their sire is a fabulous field trial golden and all nine of the pups were very, very birdy.

My most recent petsitter was 24/7. Made me feel much better about beinggone for 2 weeks! She was $30 for 1 pet, $5 per pet after

Does this person have another job they can do from your home? I'm curious because I have a small sitting/walking business and $30/day is not enough to live on, at least not where I live! I could never charge this little even if I wanted to (I prefer no over-nights). Being there 24/7 may not ~sound~ like a big deal, but it really is. No taking care of your own home, no hanging with family, no paying attention to your own dogs, no other income...

She's retired and found that her pension was inadequate.

I agree. Her other income is her pension and SS. She doesn't drive at night do to cateracts, so she will ONLY stay 24/7.

My most recent petsitter was 24/7. Made me feel much better about beinggone for 2 weeks! She was $30 for ... - I don't let any petsitter do that and it's fine with all. 1/2 acre yard though, and each other.

I am asking because I am watching a puppy for a coworker of my SO 3 days a week about 8 1/2 to 9 hrs per day... this is his first very own dog and it is kind of a handful as he is not really working on training and I feel kind of odd telling him things i.e. ALPO treats are not the best things you can feed a pup and he is old enough to learn more than sit etc.

He works up here LA and lives in Santa Fe so it si to far a commute to leave the pup and go home for lunch, I don't really mind having a third dog around it keeps my boy busy and gives my girl a break, I am just unsure of a) how much to charge and b) how much to say
Thanks
