Hello Hello!
A short question, the past 4 months I've had a 2-year Yorkshire female!
She has terrible bad breath, she has previously received only canned food and I wanted to now switch to dry food and feed her, therefore, a mixture of wet food and dry, because she is refusing dry food alone!
I even cleaned/brushed her teeth sometimes, because the smell from her mouth is really awful!
I've already bought from pedigree denta stix but even those do not help !!!!!!
Who knows some advice, I am grateful for everyone !!!!!

Greetings, Dogmama24

Hi,

Brushed her teeth sometimes? You have to start brushing her teeth on a regular basis. Imagine what would happen if you didn't brush your own teeth every day. Emotion: smile This doesn't mean you have to do that as often for your dog, though. Brushing once a week should be enough.
It's good you don't use human dental care means because they may lead to disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. It is best to use a toothbrush for small dogs or a gauze soaked in a solution of baking soda (one teaspoon for a glass of boiled water). Stretch the gauze cloth, wrap your forefinger in it, and rub the outer surface of the teeth with a soft pressure. Start with the back and gradually move to the front teeth. If necessary, you can also do that on the inner surface of the teeth. If the dog is not used to such a procedure, the first one can be unusual. Just don't hurry and encourage your pet all the time.
