Bull ***. Cats are merely killers of other life. They have NO redeeming features. The world is better off when they are dead. I take that approach to domestic cats at every opportunity. Nature (Raccoons and Coyotes) takes care of the refuse and no neighbors (who do not restrain their cats) know what happened.

Stupid. What harm have snakes done in your yard/garden? Answer, NONE. That you or your family may be afraid of snakes is not germaine to the answer.
Personally, I shoot cats with a high powered BB gun (silent and as effective as a 22 short) and leave out food for Coyotes Raccoons. Currently there are no cats killing birds in my yard/garden.

Overall, cats are the greater offenders, on several other dimensions as well.

Cats help control the vermin and other pests. Why just the other day, mine brought home a snake she found in the yard.

A snake is not Vermin, and is one of the beneficial animals to have in a yard. They eat insects, rodents and other harmful sorts of things.

Cats will kill small animals for no purpose, especially songbirds.
But yeah Responsible pet owners pick up the mess. ... your hand out, and tie it off for later disposal.

An actual purpose for subscribing to the Oregonian. So after I'm done using the plastic bag, what should I do with the newsprint?

Oh don't even ask such open-ended, sts, questions. I might decide to answer.
Lots easier than carrying one of those little shovels, and contains the odor nicely.

I don't think I've seen one of those for a long time, but I do find a shovel useful for those occasions when I have to fling dog *** at my neighbor's house because his loose dog runs over to my yard to poop.

They were marketed under the Pooper Scooper label for a while. But carrying one of them down the street while walking the dogs is a tad overmuch. The plastic bag is Lots simpler.

yeah but a snake eats a pest about once a full moon.

Not at all.
My cat didn't kill the snake, just brought it to the gas grill. I guess she expected me to ... over the fence so hopefully it's back in the wetlands area where it can help reduce those noisey little frogs.

Sheesh! And you twerps complain about shooting nutria.
Perhaps THE SCHOOL could get the cops out there. Perhaps THE SCHOOL could threaten to get the media out there.
Otherwise, take pictures of the offenders and post them. On the net and at the field.

A person did do that a few years ago in Portland. And when the dogs start to die in Laurelhurst Park, he was put at the top of the list of suspects by the Portland Police and the Multnomah County District Attorney.

That's not surprising.

WOW! Another whacko Outs himself!!

I've had pet snakes, they are quite useless with regards to controlling pest/rodent populations.

If you want, I'll bring a couple of snakes for you to keep in your finch cage.

Good, that's why I keep bird feeders in my yard, entertainment for my cats.

It takes a big man to admit he's afraid of a little ***.
um, pick it up with what, Don's newspaper baggie? Then I end up with a poopie baggie.

A Pooper Scooper

yeah but carrying a scoop of poop through the house doesn't sound very sanitary.
