Since what age can I give eggs to a cat? And which are better: raw or boiled eggs?
Boiled eggs are better because the raw eggs can contain salmonella and the avidin enzyme reduces biotin absorption which will eventually result in a deficiency.
Cooked eggs can be fed 2 to 3 times a week and apparently make the coat shine more. I haven't tried this myself though. I'm sorry I can't comment on the age bit.
My cat doesnt' eat boiled eggs only raw eggs and he loves them Emotion: sad should I stop giving raw?
I would certainly avoid it but if you're fully sure about their safety (you know the manufacturer well for example) why not... but there's always a risk and you should remember about that.
a litttle egg is ok for kittens too i think if they're weaned already but you shouldn't give too much.
