I live in Florida in an apartment complex which allows pets. The dog population is larger than cats. People are always walking their dogs on the grounds. Landscaping is done on a weekly basis, where there is possibly more dirt than grass. I have heard that climate and regions can harbor fleas. I have a gap in my front door about 2 ins wide. The floors in the hallway are tile. Can fleas be transported on dogs to the inside and jump through the crack? My house is now infested with fleas and so is my indoor cat. The manager says the grounds are not treated and they can not jump through that crack, my floor has numerous dogs that are walked outside. Help me to get her, manager, to understand that they do jump.

You could sue him, but it would be better to change your apartment.
