harriet and Humphrey could get on like a house a-fire.

i left two new (large!) sacks of cat litter sitting in the living room yesterday, assuming (yeah, st00pid me) that no dog in it's correct brane would bother brand spankin' new, unused cat litter. harriet is obviously not in her correct brane. i came home to both sacks ripped open and scattered from one end of the living room to the other, with a bunch of it dumped down one of the heat registers just for fun. it took me forever to clean up, because it was tiny pine flakes (They were out of the pellets i normally get, hrmph). tiny pine flakes + carpet = PITA to clean up.
on the bright side, unlike Humphrey, i don't think harriet ate any of it. she's more into destruction than consumption. and, obviously, harriet was the culprit. elliott would never* do something like that. not *ever. he's my Very Bestestest Boy.

hard not to laugh (L O U D L Y) at a story like this..

Or so says Frankie. Something about 'way to go' and 'give 'em a 10'.

Someone should start a contest for the "biggest mess made by an innocent, funloving dog." Would make a good web site!

it was hellacious. i hope it wasn't the death of my poor, old vacuum, because while i was vacuuming up the bits i couldn't scoop up, the vacuum started making an odd sound. i should've gotten out the shop-vac.

she did! and when she was finished creating mayhem, she must've made herself a cozy little nest and taken a nap (the litter is actually nice and springy and soft). there was a bunch of litter piled up behind the futon, with a perfect harriet indentation in it.

LOL! Sounds like Harriet has been inspired by Batman. You might want to check the long distance charges on your phone, shelly.
