In this quarter's issue of "Companion Parrot Quarterly," there is an article about a food for parrots called "Glop." It consists of some crumbled up toast, along with some baby food carrots or squash and some finely diced greens, such as kale.
I made some of this for my Pionus and she loves it. Has anyone else ever tried this? Could it be that this is finaly a healthy parrot food that my parrot will actually eat???

Finally! Emotion: smile
Emile the tiel loves it and gets it caked all over his face when he eats it. Rocky the caique is not as big a fan of wet food. We haven't tried simon hahn's on it yet. We have also experimented with different kinds of health breads, sprouted wheat bread, quinoa bread, etc.
