I do! Went to a show today. Came back with frogs for the exhibit. I purchased a reverse trio of Waxy Monkey Tree Frogs, 6 White's Tree Frogs, 2 Tomato Frogs, 2 Big Eye Tree Frogs, and 2 Painted Mantellas. I got there too late to get the Red Eyes and Rococo toads that I planned on. A vet visit will be scheduled for this Tuesday. Should be interesting.

Are these all going into your new exhibits or are they for personal enjoyment?

Sweet.
I know its got to be a lot of work getting all this together, but you should consider yourself lucky. Thats a really cool experience. I love waxy monkey tree frogs. They look like some kind of martian invaders. How much budget do you have left for more animals ?

They are for the exhibit. But, if the zoo that we contacted does not want to purchase the frogs after the exhibit, I have a feeling I will end up with them.

I still have quite a bit of money left to spend! Still on my list:
2 large Pipa Pipa
1 large African Pxyie Frog
1 large Budgett'sTiger Leg Monkey Frogs
Chinese Gliding Tree Frogs
Brazilian Milk Frogs

10 Red Eye Leaf FrogsSolomon Island Eyelash Frogs
Fire Belly Toads
A few more Painted Mantellas
3-4 Dying Poison Dart Frogs
3-4 Green and Black Poison Dart Frogs
3-4 BumbleBee Poison Dart Frogs
3-4 Terrible Poison Dart Frogs
And, if anything else unusual comes up that is available! I am having the time of my life doing this. I went out to collect fresh sphagnum moss today, got two pillowcases full. The walls of the exhibit are done, we are currently building the shelving for the tanks to sit on. I should get to start working on the tanks themselves by the beginning of next week! I'm so excited!

Wouldn't you rather get healthy frogs? :-)

Ok. So I'm a bit confused. I got the idea you were building one big huge tank with waterfall, thunder and lightening, etc. Is it several small tanks in a larger frame of some kind?
I want pictures darnit!

Hehe, the exhibit will inhabit our main exhibit hall. It's a 1500+ square foot room. There will be false walls in which several (at this point somewhere between 17 to 20) habitats will be set up. The large tank that you are thinking about will be my showcase tank as you first walk into the exhibit. The rest of the enclosures are anywhere from 120 gallon tanks to
20 gallon long tanks. There is a nocturnal room for the 5 species ofnocturnal tree frogs that I want to show, and then the rest of the tanks are out in the open. There is a poison dart frog section (Pick Your Poison), a large terrestrial frog section (Hefty Hoppers), an aquatic frog section (haven't come up with a nifty name for that section yet), a native amphibians section spotlighting frogs and salamanders, and then a section for frogs with unusual characteristics. The large showcase tank will house my Giant Haitian Tree Frogs, as they need lots of room anyways.

I have been taking pictures of the process, nothing interesting yet, just wall construction. When we start building tanks, especially the showcase enclosure, I will take lots of pictures.
I can email you the conceptual drawing and floorplan for the exhibit if you're still curious about it though. I would post it up, but being that we are not done with it, I think the museum would have a problem with that.

Yes, please. I'd love to see more of what you're doing. Exhibit design fascinates me.
