re: He Did It! Stumpy Update page 2
Oh my god, he pulled it off! He regenerated 7 legs!!! They're half-size, but another molt will fix
that. Yay, Stumpster! The only problem with this is that after his next molt when the legs are back to normal, you'll have to come up with a new name 'cuz Stumpy won't be stumpy anymore. Maybe you should call him Norm. :-) Scott
lol I like it. :-P

Where is he coming from? How old is it? I like the Vietnamese Blue Beauties and their markings, but I found that the ones that I saw where a little more flighty. The Taiwan Blue Beauties aren't quite as pretty, but seem a little more calm.
However, these were breeders, and not often handled. I bet yours is going to be as tame as a puppy after a while. I love the size on the Beauty snakes, an impressively large snake, but without all the weight to lug around.

PNHS! Unwanted snake from a local experienced herper - his cat and the snake were constantly going at each other through the glass! She's around 5 years old and only approx. 3 feet - some say the Vietnamese beauties are "dwarves".

I housed a Taiwanese Blue Beauty here last summer - struck at me daily through the glass but was just flighty to handle. This one is described as "never aggressive, busy and active in your hands but quite docile". I haven't seen the snake yet!!

I hope so, though I find I've a special place in my heart for my gonzo nutso snakes that aren't elementary-school-approved, too.

One of our PNHS members has bred beauties for several years. Her big breeder female must be 10' or more, and about the diameter of my forearm. Busy, busy, snake, long and fast but not aggressive.
I CAN'T WAIT!!
