just a Chow?

If it's a Chow, it's probably one of the ones that belonged to the roommate Mikey had 5-6 YEARS ago... which, IIRC, is the same time period in which the "world premiere" was filmed.
I didn't read from Tara's post that she was offended. She's bringing up something that's bothered her {and me} about your 'jokes'. They're archived, and as Tara pointed out, someone doing a search on 'pit bull' will bring up your remarks out of context.

Agreed that most people in the group know you're joking. But new folks pop in and out all the time. What are they taking with them? That you like to joke about the reputation of pit bulls? Maybe. That a pit bull owner thinks the damage some pit bulls have done to children, adults, and other animals is funny? Maybe.

Actually, that was two years ago. I didn't know my World Premieres had to be live? I'll keep that in mind.
My long distance dedication to you was filmed 6 years ago though.
And here is my long distance dedication to you.

i guess the idea of trying to please people i've never even heard of, who might search on google, and who might misunderstand one thing they read, seems nearly impossible to me. no matter what i (or you, or tara, or anyone else) says, there is someone out there who will find something wrong with it.
i don't think changing my sense of humor (were that possible) will change anyone's mind about whatever breeds of dogs they like or dislike. i'm trying to be kind to others, i really am. but i can't very well stop being *me*, just because a handful of people don't understand it, can i?

when someone approaches me and asks what kind of dog i have, it's not unusual for me to say (smiling, of course), "a pit bull. he's vicious, can't you tell?" as Manu is wagging his whole butt and basking in the petting. i've never, ever, seen anyone take that the wrong way. the reaction i get is a smile, a laugh, or a "yeah, i can tell!" as they bend down for a kiss.
maybe all of my experiences have been flukes. who can tell?

It's not about trying to please people.
Debbie
of course, i forgot. it's about me single handedly destroying your precious breed.
sigh
look, i'm just trying to live my life, enjoy what i can of it, and share some fun with my dogs. i really don't think i'm anywhere near as damaging to the breed as you make me out to be.
really, i promise, i meant no offense.

Please go into the archives and delete the posts
about your pit bull jumping off of a cliff to her
death in your back yard. I was searching on your
agility posts, and it seems like you advocate
throwing pit bulls off of cliffs for entertainment.

what if a child reads that you dumb cow?
thank you.

Would you please go off somewhere and grow up?
Tara and I both were trying to help you understand how some of your remarks about pit bulls are archived, and how they can be used against the breed. You either care, or you don't.
