And if he doesn't want to talk to those on RPDB who gave him such a hard time, I totally understand why he doesn't come back here.

Yabbut, what I don't understand is, why do you keep coming back?

I guess P+ isn't that effective after all...

Some dogs train differently. You know that. I find entertainment in people who try on newsgroups to kick my butt(and often succeed) and hurt my feelings (never succeeds) or try to shame me (HA! The more I watch their gyrations to shame me, and watch them jump through hoops lowering themselves in the process and creating lies, the more I'm amused.. that they don't recognize themselves in doing the very things times 100 that they are trying to shame me for. And THAT"S entertaining!!) . And i just laugh, because they THINK they know all about me, and know who I am. I find newsgroups very entertaining.

You are dealing with a female. P+ generally makes them sink roots in deeper. Haven't you observed that phenomenon on rpdb before? It occurs in multiple posters, almost all by women, all day long
You don't get it. She wasn't dissing Diddy, she was playing on the "praise is punishment" theory. It was a joke, son. Christy

Whew! I goofed again. Thanks for setting me straight. I don't really understand, but my sense of humor is not very good. I often need a smiley face :-) to detect a humorous remark.

No biggie. If you weren't involved in the other thread, it was an easy miss.
Thanks Christie and diddy.

Thanks Christie and diddy.

Sorry, ChristY! We are in the middle of a big "ie" vs. "y" name ending war in my household. The girls want Molly to be Mollie and the puppy to be Sammie (even though it's a boy). I am pretty okay with that since it is better than them wanting to name one of them Cantaloupe or something, but getting in trouble for using y instead of ie is apparently messing up every aspect of my life at this point. Once we get all the name tags up to date, maybe it will die down and I'll be able to spell names with a y again.

Thanks Christie and diddy.

Molliey and Sammiey. End of problem. NEXT!

Ms. Healey, you are an eevil, eevil woman!
We took Sammie to the vet yesterday for shots and to get a microchip. My daughter made sure the paperwork was filled out as "Sammie" and his tag says "Sammie" so now it is official. Mollie is still officially a foster dog, so I get to hem and haw about that one. Like I said, though, at least they don't want to rename her something like Cantaloupe! They are giving Sammie different nicknames like Mr. Biscuit, Baby Biscuit and Fluffy Dog. I call him Poopyhead because I am the one who gets up for middle of the night potty trips. He doesn't seem to mind, though.

Hi, I'm a friend of Chris's. I happened along here after he lost Mack and found alot of people rude and just plain mean so it's no wonder he doesn't want to post here anymore.
Chris is fine. He moved and yes he is still volunteering at a shelter and working with dogs.
He is happy where he is and he emails me when time permits. He is very busy with his "new" life.
Chris is a wonderful person. I am probably one of the few friends he stays in contact with. If you want I can let him know you have asked about him. Post your screen name and i'll do that for you. Whether he contacts you or not is up to him.
He did tell me he would never come back to this message board again..guess he was correct...he hasn't. Grieving is different for different people. He was so close to Mack. I shared in his grief. Mack was a remarkable dog and it is a shame the way his life ended. Chris did everything he could to save Mack. I was with him through all of it. It was extremely difficult for us. I don't know who you have contacted that is a close friend of his..I know of myself and one other lady. We are his closest friends. According to Chris..we are the only 2 he misses. Soo he's fine, happy and moving along in his life doing what he loves. Caring for animals.
