I have a 6 month old male German Shepard, we got him when he was 8 weeks old, and we tried housebreaking him the same way we did with our chow/spitz dog (who was trained by 3 months old) . So, after 2 months and the housebreaking not working at all , 0% , he just doesn't get it at all, we bought a crate, which we hated to put him in, but we had no choice, so he stays in there at night , but as soon as you take your eyes off him for 5 minutes, he had peed or pooped somewhere. Please help, we are so out of ideas, and don't want to have to give him away. We don't know what else to do, and have never seen a dog that doesn't understand any of the things we try to do to housebreak him. Thanks everyone.
