He wipes me out, I know he needs more exercise, but he gets bored with his toys fast. Any suggestions? Thanks

Get him a kitty playmate. See my cats: http://community.webshots.com/album/56955940rWhxAe Raw Diet Info: http://www.holisticat.com/drjletter.html http://www.geocities.com/rawfeeders/ForCatsOnly.html Declawing Info: http://www.wholecat.com/articles/claws.htm

That would be the best thing, he wasn't with his littter mates very long, so that was a bad thing, but I want him to (and he does) think he's human. Emotion: smile thanks

I have 2 cats and they really do play a lot together. Plus, when you're not home, they have each other for company. I really think you can't go wrong by adopting a playmate for him, perhaps a female.

Of all the choices I would go with getting him a playmate. He won't tire of that and will have company so you won't have to feel guilty if you go out for the day.

I can only please one person a day.
Today is not your day.
Tomorrow doesn't look good either.

I agree except for the fact that not everyone wants more than one cat. I have two, and used to have only one. I find that both of these cats are happier than my first "only cat," I think because they have each other to play with. I think I just THOUGHT I didn't want two cats. Live and learn.
I agree except for the fact that not everyone wants more than one cat.[/nq]I live in a very small apartment, and from the day I brought my first cat into the house, 29 years go, I thought that would be it. I was very wary of becoming a "cat person" and having a dozen of them and a bad house smell, etc. I really love cats, so I was afraid that once I got one, I couldn't resist getting two, then three, and so on. Well, I got a second, and have always had two cats since.

I have resolutely resisted all temptation to ever get a third. I think the difference between one and two in upkeep, cost and aggravation, is almost imperceivable. The difference between one and two on my psyche, and the well being of the cats, is immeasurable. I would get your cat a playmate, you'll both be happy you did.

That's very funny, but oh so true, I'm going to consider it. Emotion: smile
