I love paps and that girl is Gorgeous with a capital G, but it makes me sad that she is shy - they aren't really by nature shy. its just undersocialized animals that are.
I fell in love with Roxie, but she has a home already. She has the brightest smile and such non-bulbous eyes:

The dramatic color of this boy was kind of appealing. http://www.pcoc.net/rescue-adoption.htm
I keep fantasizing about a small auxiliary dog, although I have neither the time nor space for one, so I spend a lot of time window shopping. My current obsession is Ginger: http://papillonclub.org/rescue/z avail ginger.html

Oh, she is tres cutie-pie.
What rescue dog are you currently obsessed with?

There is a 5 year old BSD girl, Tai, out of Terv parents in the BSCA's rescue program right now (although, I think she may have an adoption pending) that is a darling. I kept looking, but she is iffy with other dogs, and
I'm not equipped to handle that sort of problem...at least yet. Shelly & The Boys
Seattle Animal Control has 2. A male GSD/Pit mix, brindle with whitefeet. And a male rottie/aussie mix, who looks like ... permanent place; he was in fostercare for a long time. The longer I look the longer my list gets. jdoee

i met a GSD/pit mix at the Pitbull Project reunion, and he was a doll. a little strange looking (like a furry pit with sticky uppy ears), but very sweet and gentle. i really liked him.

well, there's this girl, http://snurl.com/1xrx, who looks so sad i just want to take her home and curl up by the fire with her. but i wouldn't subject her to my pups, she looks like she would like a quiet home. (and yes, Gwen, she's (apparently) GDS mix, so i'm getting over that fear!)
then there's this boy, http://snurl.com/1xun, who appeals to my love for "difficult" but under-appreciated dogs. plus, just look at that face.

but i don't need another dog, so i shouldn't be looking. heck, i don't know that i could have another dog at this point. gonna have to wait till my babies grow up before i can even think about it.

there aren't any particular dogs who are haunting me, but i'm generally saddened by how many senior Boxers i see in rescue. at some point, when i've got the space, i'd love to have a senior auxiliary dog.
that said, there are* a couple of cutie pies in Green Acres Boxer Rescue who are taunting me. Lucy, who looks like *all kinds of silly, and Toby, who woo-woos and kisses. Arlo also sounds fun.

He is. And he looks like a lab-basset cross, but not in the scary grafting-experiment way.

Come on Melanie, you know as well as I do that small auxiliary dogs don't take up a whole lot of time or space.

OMG, she's some kind of KYUTE. And an agility Pap too. You know, she'll fit in quite nicely with the BCs.
She's already been returned once she was on the site a couple of months ago, was marked "adopted" and disappeared, and now she's back. She's exactly what I want. "Shyness" issues are something I feel like I can deal with.

Absolutely. If I can do it, knowing squat about dogs, you most certainly can.
Would someone please adopt her so I can stop wishing I had an agility Pap?

Ooh, I hope no one makes it that easy on you. What're you waiting for? Put in an app already (Is this helping?)
