That's kind of what I was thinking. I train my ... moving into my chin at the wrong moment. Mustang Sally

Yup. And it wasn't lack of training that caused Ender to slip on the ice and trip me with ... suppose a well trained dog would tuck his legs under him in a safe and neat fashion, but oh well.

Oh well indeed. I've heard tell that people fall on ice even without interference from dogs (well-trained or not), so this mishap probably couldn't be blamed on Ender. Sounds like you both were fortunate not to have broken something.
I'm just glad that he was confused enough from his own fall not to notice the prime opportunity (dazed owner = loose grip) and head for the hills. Instead he gave me a kiss and checked my coat pockets for treats.

Heh. Smart doggie.

I haven't been injured by my dogs. I train them.

My dog is far from perfectly trained,

Ahh for a breath of fresh air - despite my on-going efforts, I have a dog with a lotof training behind her, and cloth-ears. You get scared to say that on this group sometimes Emotion: big smile It's clear its going in, we're just waiting for maturity to realise it.
but any injuries I've had from him
haven't been due to lack of training. His head has collided with my head during scritching sessions; he's run into ... my hand at just the wrong time while jogging and nearly ended up with a broken finger, etc. happens.

Today's injury - I have a 4'' round bruise on my shin from a collision with her head during agility and a scratched chin cos she got impatient while practicing sit-stay.
No elasto-plast needed today so it mus be a good one Emotion: big smile

My dog had nothing to do with my most notable agility "injury." I very simply slipped on wet grass and landed on my rear HARD.

Of course then the dog thought somehow it's her fault and the poor thing crawled into my lap for reassurance.

Heh. I've never been afraid to mention that my dogs have lousy leash manners - I blame that on the fact that they're almost always off leash.
My name is Matt and my dogs jump on people.

Just a few I can remember... Penny tore my eyelid open with her dew claw (as a pup) when she ... adopted him he would nip when he was excited, I looked like someone was beating me for a good month.

I know this body state... Once when Dylan was a 3 and Oppie was a very active, clumsy adolescent, my doctor asked me how I got all the bruises on my legs. I told her it was abuse, all right, dog abuse. By my two
80 lb dogs. Turned out she had a couple of bruises herself, from her GSD.
No broken bones (thankfully) some broken nails and a lot of scrapes to my feet, legs etc. Buddy is VERY boxer like in his play. All worth it, they bring LOADS more joy than they do pain.

Oh, absolutely!

I don't mind coming to work, but that eight hour wait to go home is a ***.
