You wanna know HOW IGNORANT I AM?
I do not have a CLUE about the Cubs except they are a team of some sort.

What a winner I am,huh?
PauletteQ
No stinking bashes here. Just a thank you to Paulette.

Thank You Deb. : )
Paulette~
Good! Now that we're all agreed, how 'bout them Cubbies? Emotion: smile

Yes, they actually qualify as a "team" this year.
But not in years past.
What a winner I am,huh?

Paulette, you're a winner by any measure.
Now can I have a cookie?

Come on guys. Let's not turn this into another public bash session.

I'll be honest. My jaw dropped when I read "Instead of dropping the dogs off at the SPCA today as turn ins.." I was under the impression that Nessa's choices were a) taking the dogs up to Paulette who would then find them a good home or b) keeping them. I didn't think that c) turning them in to the SPCA was even an option. At that point, I didn't say anything at all, because as surprised (and disappointed) as I was to read about door # 3, I was actually glad that she decided to keep the dogs and work with them instead. In the final analysis, the dogs won't get tossed around, and that's a good thing, especially if Nessa follows through on what she has promised.

You bet.
And if Nessa changes her mind again, we'll just sic Paulette on her again. Emotion: smile

And Janet probably had a hand in this change-of-heart, too.

Didn't Janet have something to do with Nessa and the adoptions?

No.

Matt. Rocky's a Dog.

No. Matt. Rocky's a Dog.

Hmm I wonder why I thought that?

I was also dismayed when I saw that, but for the record, Jack, I had no intention of saying a word. I am very glad to see that Nessa decided to keep the dogs, is getting them into some classes, and is working with Janet.

Didn't Janet have something to do with Nessa and the adoptions?

NO NO NO. Janet is merely the person who has helped me to train the dogs and treat them well. She is one of the reasons I''m going to be able to try again. Bagel had class today and Hannah starts again next week. Without Janet's acceptance and generosity I would not be so sure I was willing to try.
I am so sorry I worded my post the way I did Paulette. I did not mean to upset you. The impulsiveness of my behavior and thoughts shows through. Hopefully my new medications will kick in soon and that will slow down.,

IF I was not keeping them they WOULD have come to you. It was the decision to keep them and not send them to you not to give them to someone else or return them to the shelter. THAT is the HONEST truth.
