Whether it occured to me or not, if I asked a question about a subject with which you are familiar and I'm not, I don't know why it would be labelled confrontational...and not sure what the state of my hormones has to do with anything anyway - but thanks for the link at any rate, it was interesting. And thanks for the comparison to OldMolly, I'm honored Emotion: smile.

You could have fooled me. does this look like a non-confrontational question to you?
sic: > YIKES, look at that protein level! About double what many species (and as
high as 8 times for some) need...their poor kidneys! owly

Since I had a 'run in' with OM (and to a lesser extent you) some time back, both of
you have gone out of your way to come up with smartass remarks each time I post a message to the list. Neither of you are anywhere near as smart as you think you are and I am becoming just a little ' gatvol' with the whole situation.
Little wonder OM couldn't make any of her multiple marriages work out. It would
have taken a saint to put up with her c#*p for any longer than 12 hours at a stretch.
As for you. If you are not familiar with a subject, I suggest you tone down the
nature of your comments and make those questions look like questions. That is what question marks were intended to be used for. An exclamation mark
is something totally different and it is far enough away from the query, not to have
been taken for an innocuous typo.

Interesting nutritional analysis. Higher in protein than Soya, high in lysine, all the essential amino-acids & vits. No trypsin/chymotrypsin inhibitors ... should make the best base for hand rearing and maintenance diets we've seen yet. check out: http://www.goodgrains.com/lupin characteristics.htm Vox.

I have read some articles about lupin and its use in different farm animals. It sounds almost too good to be true. Would you happen to have heard of its use in feed for hair goats? I know S. Africa produces some outstanding angora goats.

What is the point of using this as a 'base' ... with simply using a hand rearing formula on its own?

You wouldn't be expected to know but most h/r formulas have a protein percentage of between 17 and 20% and ... up your own ignorance when you go off at the mouth, just for effect, like you are doing at present.

I simply asked a question as I could not understand why anyone would muck about with a successful formular.
In real life do you simply expect people to assume that you are correct in all things and never question you?
I don't have the time or the inclination to mix my own H/r formula, so naturally I do use a ... not able to accept this without becoming confrontational, then kindly refrain from replying to anything I post in the future.

But the whole point about information is that people will want to question things and have points clarified, not simply accept every worth in blind faith. I think you are rather arrogant to expect us to do so.I will reply to your posts as I see fit I'm afraid. You might be a control freak in real life but it means bugger all to me chum.
