Is dandelion tincture diluted with water safe for cats? I've heard it's good for kidney health and lowering blood sugar in humans so I'm wondering if it can be beneficial for cats too. In lower dosage ofc!

It is safe but you need to make sure it's from a reputable source due to the possibility of pesticides being used. PetAlive is a good company and onlynaturalpet.com
Oh yesss! It's from a reliable source. My husband's uncle gathers the herb and makes the tincture himself. Emotion: smile Thanks!
Is he getting them from his own property then? He knows what he's doing it sounds like? That's purrrrfect! Emotion: big smile
Oh I forgot to mention that very rarely but they can have an allergic reaction to it, it is a weed after all. So if you see any adverse reactions instead of improvements, discontinue it immediately. but it should be fine.
Yesss he knows what he's doing! He lives on a farm so there are plenty of opportunities to gather herbs. Emotion: smile Is there a way to test if my cat will be allergic to the tincture before I give it to him? Or the only way is to just try it out?
Unfortunately you just have to try it but to be safe start out very slow and low dose. Emotion: smile
Sorry I know I'm annoying Emotion: embarrassed but what would you call a low dose?
Yes you are! HAHAHA, just kidding sweetie. Emotion: big smile. Honestly I don't know. There is a GREAT book out there called "Herbs for Pets" http://www.amazon.com/dp/1933958782/ref=as_li_tf_til?tag=ibki-20&camp=14573&creative=327641&linkC...

That book has all the info you need about dosing and what's safe and what isn't.
