Hello again,

One more question for today. I know lots of people use laser pointers to play with their cats and I tried to do it BUT I have two thoughts that bother me.
1) Is it safe for the cat's eyes if accidentally gets in them?
2) Doesn't this kind of game have a negative effect on the cat's mental health because it can't physically catch the red dot nor bite it?
If I was a cat and tried to catch something and ALWAYS failed I'd go insane. Emotion: big smile
LOL, no it's fine if they can't catch it. Mine eventually got sick of it like they do all of their toys. The older they get, the harder they are to amuse. But be careful not to get the red light in their eyes at all, this can be damaging to their retinas. I don't like the idea of those automatic laser pointer toys. The ones that run by battery by themselves. It would seem to me the kitty can easily get that light in their eyes constantly. But companies don't always care about things like safety! sheesh! Emotion: rolleyes
Thank alfinnlay! But I can't get rid of the feeling Miky hates this red dot as he can't catch it. Is it just me what do you think? I hope he won't take revenge on me one day for this sorta games. Emotion: big smile

LOL Same here! I think I clearly heard Barsik swear at the darn evasive thing. That made me feel somewhat ashamed... Emotion: giggle
Good question, I have always wondered about this.
