Two weeks ago we picked up a tiny kitten. No larger than half a palm, with thin legs, resembled a cross-breed of a spider with a dandelion. We washed him, fed, and so on. He looks fine in general, grows up little by little, plays and feels happy. But it seems he doesn't drink water at all... Feces are somewhat too dry. So the all time question is, what to do???

Do you know how old he is? Though he may be eating he may not have been weaned from milk to water. Try him with water and if he drinks that you can start diluting the milk with water until you only have water in his bowl.

Also see your vet as there may be an underlying problem!
Good news - he drinks!!! I feel relieved, really.
Thanks for reply, sequeena. I'm not sure how old he is exactly but I've decided to visit a vet next weekend so the kitty was eximined well. I guess the vet will also be able to tell me the kitten's age? We'll see.

Good news!! Emotion: smile

Your vet will be able to give you a rough guess from the size of your kitten. Myself I would it anywhere between 5 and 7 weeks old.
Are they already weaned by this age? Maybe I was wrong giving him water at once and I should keep on giving milk for now?

I'm not actually sure when the mums start to wean them off. I think they're on solids by 6 weeks though.

If your kitten turns out to be younger than this then yes it is likely they will need to have milk but if he is eating then I wouldn't worry too much Emotion: smile

You really do need to see your vet.
