Hello,
My fiancee and I have a pet Kenyan Sand Boa. When we lived in Iowa City, we went to any one of three pet stores to buy live pinkies to feed him. When we moved to Chicago, we assumed there'd be a wider selection of everything, including pet supplies. While there are certainly more pet shops here, I cannot find one that sells live pinkies. I must have called fifty different stores, and no one sells live pinkies or knows who might. I have been unable to get my snake (Socrates) to eat frozen mice since he was six months old. I will try again, but does anyone know where to buy live pinkies, especially on the north side?
Thanks,
Adam, Desi and especially Socrates

Luckily you have moved to a city with arguably one of the best herp societies in the country (barring NEHS, of course!). I recommend that you inquire of them.

Also try Lee Watson's twice-monthly herp swap in Streamwood, Ill (Cook county). It's always the 1st Sat & 3rd Sunday.

It was actually at Lee Watson's her-swap that we bought Socrates. I had completely forgotten about it! Thanks!
