A friend of mine sent me a dozen Terrapins from China. I think they are called Reeses? Anyhow, I had joined this ng to give them away here, because I really am not into Terrapins. However, seeing how mean-spirited you folks are, I think I will release them locally. My question is: #1) Are man-made lakes and canals considered bodies of water? For example, the nearby Mall has a huge lake in the middle of it, and I figure I can drop off a couple of Terrapins there, and then get rid of the rest in small groups of two at various Malls and Office Centers.

There is a very large Office Center nearby that has about nine six story buildings and three pretty big lakes dividing the buildings into groups of three (buildings). Before it was developed into Office Buildings, this area used to have one lake with a lot of fish. The three lakes still have fish, but I have not spent enough time there to notice if it has any turtles. However, the Terrapins could probably survive there, as they would not have to deal with predators, and they are wild caught.

I do not want to violate any laws, so your help will be appreciated! I also need to get rid of a Mata-Mata, and a side-neck, but I might sell those to a Santeria Botanica.
Thanks for helping me free these critters into the wild, where they belong!
