agreed, 100%. i'll plant Mo's tree with his ashes, because i like theidea that he has become the tree, and can live on in a new form.

That reminds me of my other favorite and oft-recommended book on death: "The Tenth Good Thing About Barney". Which is about a cat, btw..
Right now I view two of my crew's time with ... at times if I allow myself to dwell on it.

Aw I get all teared up just reading this. I know its inevitable - well my brain knows - but my heart has 'em going on forever.

I'm sorry, that sure wasn't my intent.(When I post about it is when I'm feeling rational about it. When it's too much is when I disappear from here.)
This is a very good reason that people who post here wanting to get littermates or puppies so close in age as mine(3 months apart)should really stop and think real hard about it. Feel free to use this as a cautionary example of the potential pitfalls,in the future the next time it comes up on the group.

There is good news here.I built a step based on the design that Mark made for his Maggie, and Mojo still has no trouble getting up on the bed now.
We have lots of lovin'sessions around here on a daily basis, and they're getting quite spoiled about it too,I might add!

Now You know you aren't supposed to spologize. That's what we are here for, sharing.

Nevermind pupies. This particular problem is an issue whenever you actually get dog that happen to be close in age. I knew it was going to be an issue with Tanith and Oso. I didn't anticipate the order in which they would leave me. And I did assume I'd have another dog in the house and not leave Tsuki alone.

Me too.

My phrase was "Its as good as a bad thing can be."

Its nice to have no immediate crisis even if there are storm clouds on the horizon.

Boy, no kidding. My current dogs, with the exceptions of Winston and Kira, are re-homes. Nikki and Jilly are 6, Winston and Rush are 5, Isis is 12, and Kira is almost 2. Four dogs within a year of each other. Ugh.

Yep. It's part of why, until now, I've always spaced my dogs 5-6 years apart. My current three have only a 3-year gap- Brenin was 9 in February, Morag is 6 this month, and Rocsi was 3 on June 4- and it worries me a bit.
