Oh Suja, are you sure Khan wouldn't allow another male in the house? He looks just right for you!

Khan will, but this boy most likely won't leave well enough alone, and Khan won't back down when challenged. One of the biggest challenges to adding a second dog for us is that if it is a Malamute, we need to find one that is not dog aggressive (specifically same sex aggressive or small dog aggressive). It's been a year since we were approved, and the right girl has just not come through yet.
OTOH, there is one in the New England rescue that'd be perfect for us: http://www.amrone.org/our dogs/dogs/jenna/index.shtml and the one on the other coast is practically overflowing with dogs, several of which would fit in just fine: http://www.wamal.com (Bear, Doobie, Mishka, Cody, Jetta, Silver (?), Sage, Misty, Eve and Joey). Unfortunately, they're all very strict about adopting only within their area.

Suja
He also shows territorial aggression towards males, and I'm assuming that this is a no-no as far as mushing is concerned.

Good dog people can and do deal with it. Not-so-good ones rehome the dog.

All of these very lovely as well. But you did leave off Kodiak who sounds like another excellent match for you.
His information sounds most excellent.

my all-time favorite skijoring photos is someone behind a Malamute/Corgi team (obviously a novelty team, but it was still really cute).

Photos, please. That is if you have one available.

I've got this picture saved on a different computer. I'll try to remember to post it.

Matt,
Thank you so much. I can't wait to see it.

Here is something but it isn't a team skijoring. It is a corgi pulling a scooter.

No kidding. The picture/link Gwen posted manages to imply that it is necessary to train* a Corgi to pull...certainly not true in *this universe!

This must be a different picture from what Melinda mentioned because there ain't no Malamutes - just Corgis.
