Is this normal that my cat has yellowish teeth? They are like that at the base and I wonder if this is normal or a sign of sickness. And if this is not normal, what food should I give him so the teeth become white again? Thanks.
I don't think it can be called normal, but it's not a reason to panic either. If it's really bothering, i.e. the smell is awful and the gums are red, you should take him to a vet to have a "dental" done.
Usually, dry food and special hard cat treats help to prevent plaque and tartar.
Correct, Lauren. But also brush your cat's teeth!
