Hey everyone,
Last week at the dog park my dog was attacked and bitten by another dog. I took him to the doctor, he's been checked and given medications. Silver lining, the bite marks weren't very deep so his healing has been fast. However a week has passed since this incident, but he is very sad when its just him and me at home. When we have people over, he's happy and playful, but with me he's very sad, his tail is down, he doesn't follow commands that he used to before the incident or even follow recall. I feel so bad... I think he thinks he got bitten because of me and I probably am, I should've somehow prevented it. Any suggestions on how I can improve our relationship? The weather isn't conducive to taking walks outside the home.

Thanks a bunch!
