Today while my dog was standing on my bed (a 2yr old Ridgeback / Lab mix) while I was standing over him, I began to play with him. Moving his head side to side playfully and putting him in little head locks. He seemed to enjoy it, as he pushed back with his paws and nudged me with his nose for more.
I then noticed his "red rocket" was starting to come out, he is nuetured. I stopped the game of play.
Is this normal for him to get excited like this, or did this game mean something else to him?
IT MEANS YOUR DOG FEARS YOU.

It's completely normal (even for neutered dogs) to, er, get excited when they're excited by play. It's not a sexual thing, just a general expression of excitement.

If I stopped playing with the Pigdawg every time he flashed me the poor thing would never get any attention. Just ignore it Emotion: stick out tongue
