Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a puppy to keep my Cheyenne company. When Cheyenne first came home with us I had a wonderful book on training. It actually gave a schedule to follow. What times to take her out, What time to feed, how much play time after walks and so on. Does anyone here know the name of the book I'm referring to?
Thank You,
Bettina & Cheyenne

The Evans Guide for Housetraining Your Dog

This is the most comprehensive housebreaking book ever. I don't think he left anything out.
Also you might add Good Owners, Great Dogs by Brian Kilcommons , The Art of Raising a Puppy to your reading list

Wow we are thinking of doing the same thing. It would be an asset for us, because our dog is just a stupid, I mean retarted little Lasa. We think that maby it would be helpfull to have another small dog, and in the longrun have our first dog get a brain upgrade.

why? so you can have two stupid little dogs?
and in the longrun have our first dog get a brain upgrade.
my suggestion would be to work on that brain upgrade before even thinking of getting a second dog.

oh, and just for Lucy, that meant walking my two horrible, terrible, no good dogs on buckle collars. i am such a dog-abusing thug!
day-um, is it ever hot and humid. yuck. it's only about a 1/2 mile round trip to the mailbox, but both of them were very happy to get back home and into the AC. now they're flat, flat, flat.
