Okay, couldnt resist - heres mine.
http://www.dogster.com/dog page.php?i=1986 All I know for sure is that she is part dachsund - but i was told at the shelter that she was probably mixed with a border collie..the other suggestion I have had lately is lab..Ive actually seen pics of both a dach/bc and dach/lab mix and they both looked very similar to her so who knows..any other ideas? Other than being a tad long in one of the pics, I don't see any Dachshund. Dachshunds, at least Miniatures, cannot spread their back legs out & back like that and the front arm structure is wrong for them also. They lay with legs directly below the body, not with elbows or knees out to the sides. She's absolutely adorable though and I love the feathering on the ears.

Thanks, Tara. I know I'm biased but I* think she adorable too. Emotion: surprise) Yeah, the only noticable dachshund trait is the really long body (lol its more than a tad, actually. proportion wise. Its just not too noticable in the pics) and in her face when she has her ears down. Her fur is very soft and shiny with one constant strip of cowlick straight down the spine and her tail fans out. Water rolls right off her. Shes got the white from under her chin down her chest and three of her paws are white. I'm just *so curious as to what she might be mixed with-not that it really makes a difference either way though...I just thought that I'd get some good ideas as usually everyone here seems to enjoy the guessing games.. Maybe a short-legged Jack Russell/Spaniel/maybe Border Collie? She is a cutie for sure.
Tara -
I have a dachshund (too small to be a standard, to large to be a mini - he was advertised as a standard) who ALWAYS lays with his legs back out like that, especially when he's stretching inthe morning. That's why I saw the dachshund in Jessie so quickly. She reminded me a lot of my Rusty.

That's surprising. Thanks for telling me. I've never known a Dachshund to do that. When laying, belly-down, the rear legs are tucked under the body, feet pointing towards the head. The front legs also have elbows directly under the shoulders, feet pointing ahead. They also tend to rotate their hips to the side, having their rear legs pointing sideways. Never saw, nor heard of, a Dachshund doing what you describe or laying with elbows outward from shoulders like Shells' pup does.

Tara
I would say she has a good part of Springer Spaniel in her
