This weekend I went to a biker meeting at Milan and had also to pick up a 2year old corn snake near there. First I took the snake, put it in a small cotton bag with zip, hung it around my neck and put it under my sweatshirt. She spent all the afternoon, evening and night there and after we slept together in my sleeping bag. The day after on the way home it was a very ugly weather, and while I had to cope with covered sky and rain, snaky squirmed in the warmth of my belly and is now exploring her new cage. I think there aren't many snakes who ever took a ride on a bike Emotion: smile

Sounds cool. I've never taken my snakes for a ride but my Chihuahuas ride frequently. They even have little goggles to protect their eyes. I bought them a fancy carrier but they rather ride inside my jacket. I secure them with a leash to my belt. What kind of bike do you ride? I mostly ride my Honda Shadow as it is comfortable & very dependable. I used to ride my Harley Sporster but I tired of its frequent breakdowns & poor repair history. My Honda is for care free riding.

My Harley just collects dust. I'm not good at bike repairs & Harleys have more than their share of problems in my experience. My Honda has never had any problems. I love it! I like the Italian bikes but there aren't any dealers near me. I don't work on bikes so this would be a problem. If you ever get over to the states we'll have to take our bikes across the country. We could ride from the east coast to the west coast & go up to Washington state to see Fr0glet & Jenn.

That would really ROCK! snake lady

I bet they're funny to look with the goggles Emotion: smile I've once seen a pic of a cat with goggles riding on the shoulders and helmet of his owner.

I too have a Honda Shadow. While many people try to talk me into a Harley I really don't care to change my bike. Why to take another one if mine is great? I think most Harley owners have a too big ego, they consider you less if you don't ride a Harley too. (Do you know this one?: when your Harley doesn't leak oil, it must be broken)
I don't like the italian bikes too much, they're all sporting and personally I prefer the custom type.
I don't work on bikes so this would be a problem.

If we ever should make a trip together I could give you an hand Emotion: smile
