I saw two of the puppies' parents today.
Gigi, now Moxie, weighs 30 lbs. They found out she had a UTI, which explained why she was peeing all over the place. She and her pack-mate Jake are the best of friends and sleep together with their paws around each other. We hear the humans never have to clean Jake's ears because he and Moxie groom each other daily.
Cosmo, nee Dancer, now weighs 40 lbs and the vet thinks he'll reach 100! I don't have the pictures to post right now, but it looks like they replaced the puppy with a full grown GSD! He had been neutered a week or two ago.
Both families had joy on their faces when they told me about the pups. They both adore their new additions.
Meanwhile, Bella has declared Nemo to be healthy and ready for play. We've been amazed that the girls have been absolutely quiet with each other for nearly two weeks.
stop the insanity.
Thanks for doing your part.
Hello Everyone!
The new revised addition of AB 1634 "The California Healthy Pets Act" is worse then the original! The revision calls for mandatory spay/ neuter of all dogs and cats in the state of California- regardless of their being registered! We need to defeat this bill NOW! The deadline is this Tuesday, April 10th, to voice our opposition and prevent this radical bill from becoming law in 2008!!!
For a complete copy of the bill, go to:
http://www.cahealthypets.com/billtext.htm
It is quite easy to voice your opposition! You can register your opposition by phone, fax and email. Please everybody, do all three! Every voice counts!
To find out who your representatives are, go to the below link and enter your address:
http://192.234.213.69/lmapsearch/framepage.asp
Once you have the names/contact info for your Senator and Assembly person:
1- Call them
! When you call, one of their staff members will answer. It takes 2 minutes of your time. All you have to say is:
"I am calling to register my opposition to AB 1634".

They will ask for your name and address to verify you are one of their constituents. This is all!
2- Email!
Emails are not as effective as phone or faxes, but it all helps! Make the email short and to the point. Just let them know AB 1634 is bad law and bad for California pet owners. Be sure to include your full name and address, or your email will be disregarded! Also, be sure to title the subject of the email "Opposition to AB 1634" 3- FAX-
The most effective way to voice your opposition is by fax! Type a letter explaining why you oppose AB 1634 and how it would effect you. Remember to always be respectful!
Attached is a copy of my letter I typed, if it is helpful to anybody...
Please pass this along to all your doggy friends and fellow breeders- we only have until Tuesday, April 10th to stop this!!
