Any suggestions on a good x-mas gift for my Vet.
All I can come up with is a nice Christmas cactus plant.

Thanks in advance!

EWWW! For somebody who is generally not lacking in the imagination department, this is not good.
More info on the vet: Boy or Gurl? About how old? Pets of their own? What kind? Any extra information you know about them that can be helpful.

LOL, but I love them. I guess that is why I thought it be OK.

Lady.
About how old?

I'm not certain, 42? Maybe.
Pets of their own?

Indeed.
What kind?

Dobes, shelties, African Grey parrot.

Well she does do Agility too.

What about a dobe ornament? I am not going to get
extravagant, as Blade is definitely putting a hole in my pocket I do want to go to Coloroda Springs
for the Holidays.
Something nice but simple.

Cool! How about some animal charms - the kind that you can put on your bracelets and stuff? Or you can get something from an animal rescue, and your money can pull double duty as a gift and a fundraiser for a good cause (http://www.dru.org> Dobermart for example).

That's it. The calendar or the note pads with sticky! Everyone needs those. I mean the sticky notepads.
I will continue to look. I don't think bracelet would be her kind of thing. Now me, I would love
doggie charm bracelet.

Two past gift from clients at the clinic:
*Food! Unique food items have always been hits w/ the staff (we get a "can" of cheese from one of the vet's alma mater each year and it is SO good! It's sort of creamy, and I think starts w/ an "M" and isn't Marscapone).
*Unique Christmas ornaments to decorate the clinic's tree with (one client sends homeade ones made from Alpaca fiber). Shelly & The Boys (One of whom is visiting the Vet next week!)

I gave mine a mug with my dog's picture on it. I put it in a basket with lots of individual sized treats so there could be some sharing.

Thanks Diane. What sort of treats? Human?
I could go to get one of those baskets with the
variety of food.
I kind of liked the sticky note cube. Also the
picture frame on the "Dru" site was pretty
neat.
