A neighbor found a seagull on side of road, brought it home and is trying to help it. It has a broken wing ( from the body). The vet told him it would be put to sleep but he did not have the heart to put it to sleep. He asked me and I couldn't bring her in either. Anyway what is best for the bird is not going to happen with my neighbor or me. So I guess the bird would die a slow death. heres the problem its been a week and the bird eats extrelly well and is very alert. This female seagull ( brown and tan colour) needs help. Ay advise besides the obvious would be greatly appreciated on how to care for it. If someone who has the knowledge to help with the care of the bird would be greatly appreciated. If someone who is a vet that can treat it and I have volunteered to rehab the bird for the rest of its life would also be greatly appreciated. I was told by a vet they are considered sky rats and no will help a seagull for rehab for life. wow that was awesome, statement but I didn't agree. thanks for any help or advise that you can give.
