I recently gave my 2 dogs Valbazen Jan.22 at 9pm. I was told the wrong dosage, later to find out I had given them about 5times the correct amount! The correct dosage was suppose to be 1cc per 10lbs, however I did 5cc per 10lbs! The female weighs 55lbs and the male weighs 65lbs. The female has been acting normal but the male vomitted lastnight(Jan23. roughly 24hrs later) and this morning(Jan.24) around 11am.
They both usually clean their bowls when fed but they didnt finish this morning; the female ate most of it and the male ate a very small portion. The day after giving them the wormer I skipped feeding just making sure they had water, although they aren't heavy drinkers anyhow. I figured skipping a meal would help them digest and pass everything from the previous day in which case I thought their appetite should've been better so it caused a red flag for me.
I have an appointment later this afternoon but I was hoping there was something I could do for them at home, any advice, info, suggestions?
Thank you!
