I know it's no big deal for most of you, but for me this is major. Molly sat perfectly still for three out of four paws worth of dremeling this evening without even whining. She whined when I first turned the dremel on and got out of there quickly when I let her go, but didn't do her "HELP! I am being murdered in the most cruel fashion imaginable!" routine while I got the job done. I called my kids in to give her treats when she decided to just get it over with without complaining and continue to reinforce periodically thereafter.

I believe for you this would be a BIG victory. And sometimes the biggest victories are the ones that look like no big deal to anyone else.

She is a very obedient girl, so she doesn't actually cut and run, but I was beginning to think it was never going to happen without the "you're killing me!" routine. Maybe she was finally shamed by the little dogs being so much braver than the big bad GSD!

sounds like a good girl to me!
~Jenny (who owns a dremel and never uses it because her dogs would surely give her the "help, I'm being murdered routine")
