I was so excited about the reptile expo in Tallahassee that was advertised for today. It was on websites, in Reptiles mag, and on fliers I had seen around. The museum gave me $500 to buy frogs. I was ready to go shopping. Drove the hour and 45 minutes to get there...no f*#king show. They must have cancelled, decided not to put it on, whatever. There was no word of it being cancelled anywhere on any websites either. It was one of those Reptile Marketplace shows. I had my doubts about going, but I thought I would give it a second chance.
Last time I went to one that was titled "Reptile Marketplace", it was disgusting and filthy. I haven't seen so many different people that could be charged with animal neglect gathered in one spot since the last Animal Cops show. This will be the last time I ever visit a Reptile Marketplace show. I am writing a letter to the organizer. No doubt it will be chucked aside without a second thought, but at least I will feel better.

Went to three different pet stores in Tallahassee, all huge wastes of time. So then we went to the mall. My husband blew $30 in the candy store. So, I ate English toffee, chocolate covered coffee beans and pecan clusters the whole way home. The only thing I got from the day was stress headache and a belly ache. What a freakin day.

Florida's a pretty stretched out state, I live at the top of it, all the big amphibian breeders/importers are located at the bottom of it.

I thought you were in Tallahassee, or maybe I am confusing you with someone else. It wasn't terribly bad, I was with my husband all day, who I hadn't seen for the last three weeks (he works out of state). I just would have much rather been in bed instead of in a car.
Michigan is a far cry from Florida, I feel for you. You could not pay me enough money to make me move from here. I love living here. It was 56 degrees yesterday. T-shirt weather. I am not a fan of cold weather, or snow. Hope you get back here one day. I hate to think of Tropical humans living in Artic conditions.

Yep, that confirms it, I'm surely a mild-climate high-humidity semi-amphibious human. Emotion: smile

It's a proven fact that the colors of mild-climate high-humidity semi-amphibious humans become much more vivid and intensify greatly in this type of environment Emotion: wink
