The weather forecast for the next few days is about 18C degrees below zero. We've got a few feral cats around the house and I'm worried about them dealing with such cold temperature. We feed them regularly but can't take them in. What is the lowest temperature a feral cat can endure?
Cats are very good at finding ways to warm themselves up... so if it's not their first winter, and I'm sure it's not, I believe they will be all right. Do they have some kind of shelter to hide in from snow and wind? Maybe a cellar or abandoned building? A garage? I'd put some warm blankets there.
